The Mansfield Area Hometown Heroes Banners is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization comprised of the local American Legion, VFW, and Auxiliary, as well as other involved citizens. This program is an ambitious project to provide a living tribute to the men and women from the Mansfield area who have served or are currently serving in the military.
Each banner will be unique and honor a specific Mansfield Area service person; it will include his/her photo, name, branch of service, and era of service. Banners will be displayed on street- lamps throughout the commercial district in Mansfield, Tioga County, Pennsylvania. The program is non-political and non-partisan. The banners will serve as a reminder of our Country’s history and what the Mansfield Area has contributed to our Nation.
Each banner measures 24” wide by 60” long. Beneath the service person’s name and facts is a space for the sponsor’s name to be prominently displayed.
